Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. fermented Chinese black beans
  • 1/4 lb. ground lean pork
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. minced fresh ginger
  • 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp. oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 lb. cleaned shrimp
  • 4 green onions, thin sliced

Method

  • Rinse beans and mix with pork, garlic and ginger.
  • In hot wok, add oil and shrimp.
  • Stir-fry about 3 minutes.
  • Remove from pan. Add pork mixture to pan and stir-fry about 5 minutes. Add broth and heat until boiling.
  • Mix in shrimp and onions. Serve with rice, noodles and/or a bed of shredded nappa cabbage.
