Ingredients

  • 14 ounce. bag Kraft caramels
  • 2/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk
  • 3/4 c. melted butter
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix

Method

  • Heat caramels with 1/3 c. lowfat milk, stirring constantly.
  • Set aside.
  • In mixing bowl, combine butter, 1/3 c. lowfat milk and cake mix.
  • Put 1/2 of this dough in a greased and floured 9 x 13 cake pan.
  • Sprinkle chips on top.
  • Pour caramel mix over chips.
  • Top with remaining dough.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 min.
  • Don't OVER BAKE.
  • Serve with ice cream.
  • Simply "sinful."
