- 1 c. white vinegar
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. cracked pepper
- 1 lb. small white onions, peeled
- 1/4 c. minced fresh dill
- 1/2 c. olive or salad oil
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. whole waxed beans
- 1 lb. whole green beans
- 1/4 lb. cherry tomatoes
Method
- One or two days before serving:
- In large stainless steel-lined saucepan, mix vinegar, oil, garlic, salt and pepper over medium heat.
- Bring to boiling.
- Lower heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes. Pour into 2-quart, shallow glass baking dish; cool completely.
