Ingredients
- 1 frying chicken, cut up
- 3/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. evaporated milk or 2 c. light cream
Method
- Coat chicken with flour.
- Place in heavy skillet.
- Mix salt with milk or cream and pour over chicken.
- Cover tightly.
- Simmer over low heat for 45 minutes.
- As chicken cooks, the milk or cream with thicken and the chicken will brown lightly.
