Ingredients

  • 50 g (1 3/4 oz) small bow-tie or other small pasta
  • 90 g (3 1/4 oz/1/3 cup) chunky tomato-based pasta sauce
  • 100 g (3 1/2 oz) tinned tuna in spring water, drained
  • 2 tablespoons drained, rinsed tinned cannellini beans
  • 1 teaspoon chopped drained, rinsed capers in brine
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped basil

Method

1. Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water for 12 minutes or until just tender. Drain, then return to the pan.

2. Put the pasta sauce, tuna, beans, capers and basil in a small saucepan. Stir over medium heat for 1-2 minutes, or until heated through. Toss through the pasta.
