Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground turkey
  • 1 c. soft white bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. sour cream
  • 1/3 c. skim milk
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 Tbsp. unsalted margarine

Method

  • In a medium size bowl, mix turkey, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, sour cream, milk, pepper and nutmeg.
  • Shape into 4 flat patties.
  • Coat on both sides with remaining crumbs.
  • Set on rack and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • Lightly coat a heavy 10-inch skillet with cooking spray and margarine; set over moderate heat.
  • Add patties and brown 5 minutes on each side.
  • Transfer to heated platter and serve.
