Ingredients
- 1 can (about 2 c.) French green beans, drained
- 1 can (about 1 1/2 c.) shoe peg corn, drained
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
- 1/2 c. shredded mild Cheddar cheese
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 stack (about 30) Ritz crackers, crumbled (or similar crackers)
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix together the green beans, corn, soup, cheese and water chestnuts.
- Put into a 2 quart casserole.
- Combine the melted butter and cracker crumbs.
- Mix well.
- Sprinkle over casserole.
- Bake for about 40 minutes.
- Serves 10.
