Ingredients
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1 c. plain yogurt
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter or safflower oil
- 1 1/2 c. whole wheat pastry flour, sifted
- pinch of sea salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- oil (for sauteing)
- honey (for topping)
Method
- Beat egg yolks, honey, yogurt and melted butter together. Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
- Stir egg yolk mixture into flour mixture.
- Beat egg whites until stiff.
- Fold into batter.
