Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg fresh shrimps, shelled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp warm water
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp spring onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice

Method

  • Dredge shrimps in flour.
  • Put the shrimps in hot cooking oil and toss until becomes pink.
  • Drain.
  • Combine the white wine, tomato paste and water into the drained olive oil.
  • Season with salt and pepper and cook over low heat for few minutes.
  • Add sauted shrimps, parsley and spring onions.
  • Let it boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add lemon juice.
  • Serve hot.
