Ingredients
- 6 split chicken breasts, skinned and boned
- 1/4 c. margarine, melted
- 2 tsp. Mrs. Dash seasoned salt substitute
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 c. unsweetened pure apricot preserves
Method
- Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and brush with melted margarine.
- Sprinkle with seasoned salt substitute and garlic powder.
- Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
- Drain the excess fat and juice from the chicken and brush the apricot jam on each piece of chicken with a pastry brush.
- Return to the oven and bake an additional 15 minutes.
- Serves 6. Contains 288 calories, 10.7 gm. fat, 73 mg. cholesterol, 142 mg. sodium and 270 mg. potassium per serving.
