Ingredients
- 2 lb. top round steak (3/4-inch thick)
- 1 c. tomato juice or small can sauce
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 c. chopped parsley
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 pkg. wild rice
- salt and pepper to taste
- flour to coat steak
Method
- Flatten steak thin; add flour, salt and pepper.
- Cook rice according to package directions.
- Saute onions and parsley in butter; add tomato juice.
- Add sauce to rice.
- Spoon rice mixture on meat; roll and tie.
- Brown roll on top of stove in casserole dish.
- Bake in 350° oven for 1 hour.
