Ingredients
- 17 lb. flour
- 1 1/2 large cakes yeast or 5 dry yeast
- 3 Tbsp. salt
Method
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Add to flour and salt.
- Mix real good.
- (You may need to add more water.)
- Cover with cloth, plastic and blanket.
- Let raise real high and cut it into 1 1/2 pound balls.
- Lay on cloth and cover for 30 minutes or more.
- Then pound down.
- Preheat oven to 500°.
- Put into pans.
- Stretch into round pans.
- Prick top of bread with fork and glaze with milk. Put in oven until bottom is brown.
- Then take off pan and put on top rack.
