Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 6 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
- 16 pecan halves
- 1 c. whipping cream
Method
- Beat eggs and sugar together.
- Add syrup, salt, vanilla, pecans and butter; pour into unbaked pie shell.
- Bake until filling is set.
- Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 320°.
- Put the pecan halves on top of pie.
