Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 c. mashed ripe banana
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Combine sugar, cream cheese and margarine.
  • Mix at medium speed until well blended.
  • Blend in bananas and eggs.
  • Add combined remaining ingredients, mixing until just moistened.
  • Fold in nuts. Pour into greased loaf pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  • Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan.
