Ingredients
- 1 large onion
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1/4 c. prepared mustard
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 lb. short ribs or spareribs
Method
- Chop onion and saute until soft in oil.
- Add remaining ingredients, except for ribs, and simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.
- Divide ribs for serving and place in shallow pan.
- Bake 1 1/2 hours in a 325° oven.
- Brush every half hour with the sauce and turn.
- Serves 4 to 6.
