Ingredients

  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 2 (19 ounce.) cans white beans, rinsed & liquid removed
  • 2 tbsp. pesto sauce
  • 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • Freshly grated black pepper to taste

Method

  • Put broth and beans in saucepan and bring to boil over moderate heat.
  • Reduce heat to low and stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Simmer about 1 minute.
  • Makes 4 (1 c.) servings.
