Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef, lean
  • 1/2 cup rice cooked
  • 1 each onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 each eggs
  • 8 ounces marinara sauce
  • 18 cup vegetable oil
  • 8 ounces beef stock
  • 1 cup water

Method

  • Mix half of marinara sauce in with everything except for consomme oil and water.
  • Form meatballs.
  • Fry meatballs in oil until lightly browned.
  • Add rest of marinara, consomme and water.
  • Cook until tender, about 40 minutes, with the pan covered.
  • Or bake in the oven at 350F (180C) F for 40 minutes.
