Ingredients
- Ice
- 1/2 ounce Benedictine (brandy-based herbal liqueur)
- 1/2 ounce Cognac
- 1/2 ounce grenadine, preferably homemade
- 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 3 ounces chilled Champagne
- 1 lemon twist
Method
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add the Benedictine, Cognac, grenadine and lemon juice and shake well.
- Strain into a chilled flute and top with the Champagne.
- Garnish with the lemon twist.
