Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- juice of 1 lime
- 1 clove garlic, chopped or minced
- 1 Tbsp. chopped red onion
- 1/2 tomato, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. or more chopped cilantro
- dash of Tabasco sauce
- salt to taste
Method
- Peel and seed the avocados.
- Mash the avocados in a nonmetallic bowl with a fork.
- Don't overdo it.
- Add the lime juice, garlic and Tabasco.
- Add a dash or two of salt.
- Taste and see if you need to add any more lime juice or salt.
- Add the remaining ingredients, and stir judiciously (the guacamole's texture should be chunky, not pureed).
- Refrigerate until you're ready to serve it.
