Ingredients

  • 4 c. fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. flour or 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 deep dish pie shells

Method

  • Cover bottom of pie shell with half of the berries.
  • Mix sugar and flour.
  • Pour half of the flour mixture over the berries in the shell.
  • Add the remaining berries and the rest of the sugar mixture.
  • Then dot with the margarine.
  • Add 1/2 cup of water and cover with the other pie shell.
  • Slit the top crust with a knife before placing in the oven.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
