Ingredients
- 3 c. flour
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. oleo
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. plain mashed potatoes
Method
- Combine 1 1/2 cups flour and yeast.
- Heat milk, margarine, sugar and salt until warm.
- Add flour mixture and potatoes.
- Beat with mixer 30 seconds on low, then 3 minutes on high.
- Stir in remaining flour with spoon.
- Cover and chill 2 hours or overnight. Stir down; roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
- Cut with doughnut cutter. Fry in hot oil until brown.
- Dip in Donut Glaze.
