Ingredients

  • 2 Qt. water
  • 2 Tablespoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Garlic cloves, crushed
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 whole chicken or combo of legs/thighs/breasts with skin

Method

  • Put all ingredients except BBQ sauce into sealable plastic bag and inside large bowl to catch any leaks.
  • Pat dry before grilling.
  • Can combo cook--10 mins on grill, turning halfway. Then put on cookie sheet in 375 degree oven. Roast for 15 mins, remove, coat with BBQ sauce and roast 10 more minutes or until it reaches safe temperatures.
