- 1 envelope Lipton onion mushroom recipe soup mix
- 1 c. light cream or half and half
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 medium bunch broccoli or 1 medium head cauliflower, separated into large florets and cooked
- 1 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- buttered bread crumbs
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- In saucepan, bring water to a boil. Stir in soup mix.
- Simmer, covered, 5 minutes.
- Stir in flour, blended with cream and Worcestershire sauce.
- Bring just to a boil and simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
- Stir in cheese until melted.
