Ingredients

  • 1 envelope Lipton onion mushroom recipe soup mix
  • 1 c. light cream or half and half
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium bunch broccoli or 1 medium head cauliflower, separated into large florets and cooked
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • buttered bread crumbs

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • In saucepan, bring water to a boil. Stir in soup mix.
  • Simmer, covered, 5 minutes.
  • Stir in flour, blended with cream and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Bring just to a boil and simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
  • Stir in cheese until melted.
