Ingredients

  • 1 quart milk
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 cup crisco

Method

  • Cool until lukewarm.
  • Add: 3 pkg. dry yeast About 10 c. flour 3 tsp. sugar 1 c. warm water
  • Knead well just until dough is not sticky. Let rise until double in size, about 2 hours.
  • Make into buns; place on greased sheets; let stand about 10 minutes. Press down flat. let rise until double in size. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 6 dozen sticky rolls.
  • Same dough take small pieces. Roll like a wiener. Dip in melted butter then in sugar and cinnamon (mixture). Tie in a knot.
