Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
Method
- Melt and bring to a boil the water, cocoa and margarine.
- Pour over the flour, sugar, soda and salt that have been mixed together. Beat well. Add the eggs, vanilla and buttermilk.
- Mix and pour into a 13 x 15-inch jelly roll pan and bake for 20 to 22 minutes at 350°.
