Ingredients

  • 7 1/2 ounces marshmallow cream jarred
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 1/2 ounces evaporated milk
  • 12 ounces butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup pecans chopped

Method

  • Heavily butter a 9 inch square pan.
  • Heat a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add the butter, sugar, marshmallow cream and evaporated milk.
  • Heat stirring, constantly and bring to a rolling boil.
  • Boil, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and add the butterscotch chips stirring to melt and incorporate.
  • Mix in the pecans and vanilla extract.
  • Cool until firm, about 2 hours.
  • Cut into squares.
  • Store in a loosely covered container.
