Ingredients

  • 2 lb. cut meat
  • 2 big onions
  • 1 bunch scallions
  • 1 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 tsp. Everglade seasoning
  • potatoes to suit yourself, cut in pieces
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 rutabaga
  • flour or cornstarch to thicken

Method

  • Fry meat.
  • When almost done, put in the onions and scallions until the meat is done.
  • Add the red pepper, potatoes, Everglade seasoning, salt, pepper and rutabaga.
  • Bring to a boil, then add the butter.
  • Cook until done and spice to suit yourself.
