Ingredients
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 c. nuts
- 2 c. candied cherries cut in half (1 c. green-1 c. red)
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Blend in egg and vanilla.
- Add flour and mix.
- Stir in nuts and fruit. Chill mixture for one hour. Shape into 3 rolls and chill 3 hours.
- Cut 1/4 inches thick.
- Bake 325° for 13-15 minutes.
