Ingredients

  • 1 bag Kraft caramels
  • 8 Tbsp. evaporated milk
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. quick oats
  • 3/4 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 1 c. chocolate chips

Method

  • Melt caramels and evaporated milk.
  • Mix together flour, quick oats, light brown sugar, baking soda, salt and butter.
  • In a 9 x 9-inch baking pan, spread 3/4 of the crumb mixture.
  • Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
  • Right out of the oven, sprinkle chocolate chips over hot crumb mixture, then pour melted caramel over chocolate chips.
  • Sprinkle rest of crumb mixture on top.
  • Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
  • Let cool in pan, then refrigerate overnight, then re-cut and remove from pan.
