Ingredients
- 1 bag Kraft caramels
- 8 Tbsp. evaporated milk
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. quick oats
- 3/4 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 c. chocolate chips
Method
- Melt caramels and evaporated milk.
- Mix together flour, quick oats, light brown sugar, baking soda, salt and butter.
- In a 9 x 9-inch baking pan, spread 3/4 of the crumb mixture.
- Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
- Right out of the oven, sprinkle chocolate chips over hot crumb mixture, then pour melted caramel over chocolate chips.
- Sprinkle rest of crumb mixture on top.
- Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
- Let cool in pan, then refrigerate overnight, then re-cut and remove from pan.
