Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. cashews (raw)
  • 1 c. honey
  • 2 1/4 c. wheat flour
  • 3/4 c. hydrogen peroxide (regular type)
  • 1/2 c. water or soy milk
  • 1/4 c. carob powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 tsp. salt

Method

  • Blend
  • cashews
  • with
  • water
  • until
  • smooth.
  • Add honey, carob and
  • vanilla.
  • In separate bowl, place dry ingredients. Add hydrogen
  • peroxide
  • to liquid and whiz briefly.
  • Pour wet into dry ingredients.
  • Stir only to mix well.
  • Pour gently and quickly into oiled
  • and floured pans.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, until done.
  • Cool and frost.
