Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons margarine or 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 seasoning, packet (traditional chex brand party mix seasoning packet)
- 4 cups , your favorite chex brand cereals (corn, rice, and or or wheat)
- 1/2 cup peanuts
- 1/2 cup prezel stick
Method
- Microwave Directions: In large microwave-safe bowl melt margarine on high 30 to 45 seconds. Stir in seasoning pack. Gradually add cereals, nuts, and pretzels, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Microwave on high 3 to 3 1/2 minutes, stirring every minute. Spread on absorbent paper to cool. Store in airtight container.
- Conventional: Preheat oven to 225 degrees. In 2 quart baking dish melt margarine in oven. Stir in seasoning pack. Gradually add cereals, nuts and pretzels, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Bake 30 minutes.
- Store in air tight conainer.
