Ingredients
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 3/4 c. oil
- 1 1/2 sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 c. orange juice
- 3 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
Method
- Stir almond extract into pie filling.
- Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix oil, sugar, vanilla, and orange juice.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating 1 minute after each.
- Mix flour and baking powder together, and add gradually to batter.
- Put 1/2 the batter into greased 9 inch x 13 inch pan. Spread cherries over batter. Cover with remaining batter.
