Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (juice and all)
  • 1 (20 oz.) Wilderness cherry pie mix
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick butter

Method

  • Mix the first 3 ingredients together and pour into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Mix the cake mix with the 1 stick butter.
  • Use fingers to crumble together real well (fine).
  • Spread over pineapple, cherry mix.
  • Bake 50 minutes at 325°.
  • Serve with Cool Whip or a scoop of ice cream.
  • Can be made the day before using.
