Ingredients

  • 1 large chicken hen
  • 3 boxes long spaghetti, unbroken
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 (No. 2) cans tomatoes
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Velveeta cheese, grated

Method

  • Cover chicken with water in large pot and cook until tender; remove from stock.
  • Cook spaghetti, unbroken in stock, until almost done.
  • Saute onions, celery and green pepper in butter; add this and tomatoes, soup, boned chicken pieces and soy sauce to spaghetti.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place all in large baking pan, generously cover with cheese.
  • Bake just to melt cheese.
  • Real good! Freezes well.
