Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) box chocolate wafer cookies (thin)
  • 34 cup butter (melted)
  • 14 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 lbs cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups sour cream

Method

  • Crush wafer cookies.
  • Combine wafers with butter and cinnamon.
  • Press into bottom and sides of 10" spring-form pan.
  • Chill.
  • Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • Beat softened cream cheese in large bowl until fluffy and smooth.
  • Gradually beat in sugar.
  • Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
  • Add melted chocolate, cocoa, and flavorings.
  • Blend thoroughly.
  • Stir in sour cream.
  • Pour into chilled crust.
  • Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  • Cake will be slightly runny, but will firm as it chills.
  • Cool at room temperature.
  • Chill at least 5 hours before serving.
