Ingredients

  • 10 slices bacon
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 4 large cubed potatoes
  • 4 large cubed carrots
  • 2 (10 oz.) cans clams
  • 1/2 lb. chopped shrimp
  • 1 qt. half and half cream
  • 2 c. hot water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Brown bacon in large pot.
  • Take out, crumble and return to pot.
  • Add
  • onions; cook
  • until clear.
  • Add water and juice from clams.
  • Add potatoes and carrots; cook until tender.
  • Add cream, clams and
  • shrimp*.
  • Cook until sauce thickens or until you can't wait anymore.
  • Tastes better if aged overnight!
