Ingredients
- 10 slices bacon
- 1 large chopped onion
- 4 large cubed potatoes
- 4 large cubed carrots
- 2 (10 oz.) cans clams
- 1/2 lb. chopped shrimp
- 1 qt. half and half cream
- 2 c. hot water
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Brown bacon in large pot.
- Take out, crumble and return to pot.
- Add
- onions; cook
- until clear.
- Add water and juice from clams.
- Add potatoes and carrots; cook until tender.
- Add cream, clams and
- shrimp*.
- Cook until sauce thickens or until you can't wait anymore.
- Tastes better if aged overnight!
