Ingredients
- 1 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 c. shredded coconut
- 4 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. walnuts
Method
- Combine crumbs, coconut and nuts.
- Beat egg whites, salt and vanilla until frothy.
- Gradually add sugar and beat until peaks. Fold graham cracker mixture into egg whites.
- Spread in well-greased 9-inch pie pan or 10 x 6 x 1-inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Cool, cut and serve with any flavor ice cream. Serves 6 to 8.
