Ingredients
- 3 egg yolks (save whites for meringue)
- 1 whole egg
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. canned or fresh coconut
- 2 c. milk
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- small amount of butter
Method
- Mix dry ingredients.
- Add others and cook in double boiler until thick.
- Put in cooked pie shell.
- Add meringue and brown. Sprinkle top with coconut before browning.
