Ingredients
- 2 sm. pkgs cherry jello (or 1 lge)
- 1 can dark, pitted, sweet, cherries
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 1 oz. pkg cream cheese, room temp.
- 10 fl. oz. Coke
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Method
- Drain juices from fruit into medium sauce pan.
- Heat to boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in jello until completely dissolved.
- Add cream cheese and stir/beat until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into large punch or trifle size bowl.
- Add coke and pecans and stir well.
- Refrigerate until set firmly.
- Note: I like to stir salad a couple time in the first 20 minute, to mix up the fruit that rises to the top.
