Ingredients

  • 2 sm. pkgs cherry jello (or 1 lge)
  • 1 can dark, pitted, sweet, cherries
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1 oz. pkg cream cheese, room temp.
  • 10 fl. oz. Coke
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Method

  • Drain juices from fruit into medium sauce pan.
  • Heat to boiling.
  • Remove from heat and stir in jello until completely dissolved.
  • Add cream cheese and stir/beat until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into large punch or trifle size bowl.
  • Add coke and pecans and stir well.
  • Refrigerate until set firmly.
  • Note: I like to stir salad a couple time in the first 20 minute, to mix up the fruit that rises to the top.
