Ingredients

  • 2 c. water
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. soft butter
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 3 c. instant mashed potato flakes
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. soft cream cheese
  • 1 c. sour cream cheese
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c. dried parsley
  • 1/4 c. dried chives
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Method

  • With an electric mixer, combine water, salt, butter, milk, potato flakes, cream cheese, sour cream, onion, egg, parsley and dried chives. Mix well.
  • Fold in Cheddar cheese.
  • Turn mixture into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  • Bake in preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes or until heated through and bubbly.
