Ingredients
- 1 lb. cranberries, picked over and washed
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 tsp. grated orange rind
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 3/4 c. toasted slivered almonds
Method
- Combine all ingredients except almonds in a saucepan and cook until cranberries pop open, about 10 minutes. Skim the foam from the surface; add the almonds and cool.
- Makes about 4 cups.
