Ingredients
- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. milk chocolate chips
Method
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Grease and flour jelly roll pan.
- Prepare cake mix as directed on package.
- Pour batter into pans.
- Mix remaining ingredients.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto batter.
- Cut through batter with knife or metal spatula several times for marbled effect.
- Sprinkle with additional chocolate chips and chopped nuts if desired.
- Bake until cake springs back when touched lightly in center or when wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes.
