Ingredients

  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • sugar
  • unbaked 10-inch pastry shell
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 4 eggs
  • vanilla
  • 1 1/4 c. coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Method

  • In a large mixer bowl at medium speed, beat together until smooth the cream cheese, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 egg and 1/3 cup sugar.
  • Spread over the bottom of pastry shell.
  • Sprinkle with the pecans.
  • In a large mixing bowl at medium speed, beat the remaining 3 eggs.
  • Add the corn syrup, 1/4 cup sugar, salt and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
  • Beat until blended.
