Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 6 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. milk
- 10 oz. frozen peas
- 8 1/2 oz. can pearl onions
- 1 can onion rings
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
Method
- Saute mushrooms in the butter.
- Blend in the flour, salt and pepper.
- Add milk.
- Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
- Add cream cheese; stir until melted.
- Stir in peas and onions.
- Turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole.
- Bake at 425° for 25 minutes. Sprinkle onion rings over casserole.
- Bake an additional 5 minutes.
