Ingredients
- 2 lb. hamburger
- 3 to 4 large pieces celery, chopped
- 2 to 3 large onions, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 2 to 3 cans tomato soup
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Fry hamburger in patties as for regular hamburgers and drain. Combine cans of soup (add 3/4 can of water to each can of soup), onions, celery and green pepper.
- Cook until onions, celery and green peppers are tender.
- Crumble patties and add to soup mixture. Simmer on low until the mixture becomes thick.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Serve on slightly toasted open hamburger buns.
