Ingredients

  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp. catsup
  • 4 c. warm mashed potatoes

Method

  • In large skillet cook beef and onion till meat is brown and onion is tender.
  • Sprinkle with flour, salt, mustard and pepper.
  • Stir in water, Worcestershire sauce and catsup.
  • Cook and stir over medium heat about 5 min or possibly till sauce thickens and comes to a boil.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes.
