Ingredients
- 6 roma tomatoes
- 2 jalapeno peppers
- 13 bunch cilantro
- 1 large onion, halved
- 1 can chili-ready tomatoes (or stewed)
- 4 garlic cloves
- 3 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Method
- boil tomatoes, peppers, onion, garlic, and 1/2 of the cilantro until tomatoes and onions are soft.
- remove all vegetables from water and allow to cool enough to remove the skin from the tomotoes.
- place vegetables, canned tomatoes, remaining cilantro, sugar, and salt in blender and puree until desired consistency.
- allow to cool before putting in refrigerator.
