Ingredients
- 1 pound ground sirloin thawed
- 8 cups water
- 9 1/4 ounces vegetable soup mix Shore Lunch(R) Fire Roasted
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
Method
- Coat a large non-stick skillet with cooking spray, heat over medium-high heat. Add ground sirloin. Cook and stir until bite-size crumbles are done, about 10-15 minutes. Drain ground sirloin and set aside.
- In a soup pot, bring 8 cups of water to a rolling boil. Stir in Soup Mix, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes and cooked ground sirloin. Bring back to a boil, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally until done, about 25 minutes.
