Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple (13 to 20 oz.)
  • 2 pkg. jello (1 lemon and 1 strawberry)
  • 7 oz. ginger ale
  • 1 (16 oz.) can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 Tbsp. oleo

Method

  • Drain pineapple.
  • Save juice.
  • Add water to juice to make 1 cup liquid, then bring to boiling.
  • Dissolve jello in boiling liquid.
  • Let cool.
  • Gently stir in ginger ale, then chill until partially set.
  • Blend in pineapple, cranberry sauce and marshmallows.
  • Turn into a 2-quart casserole dish and chill until firm.
