- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. cake flour
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 lb. candied pineapple (2 c.)
- 1 lb. candied cherries (2 c.)
- 4 c. nuts, cut up
- 2 Tbsp. lemon flavor
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla flavor
Method
- Dredge the nuts and fruit with all the flour and baking powder.
- Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
- Add dredged fruit, nuts and flavoring.
- Bake at 275° for 2 1/2 hours.
